Internship

Internship

The Internship is a part of the MBA degree requirement for fresh students who do not have work experience. The internship constitutes a practical program for a fresh student as a preparatory step towards his/her job placement.

The primary goal of internship is to provide an on-the-job exposure to the practical business world and an opportunity for the translation of theoritical concepts into real life situation. Students are placed in enterprises in the public and private sectors, research institutions and also development projects. The program involves twelve weeks of organizational attachment and a report. The internship program for a student is usually organized to match the area of concentration and supervised by a faculty member.

A student must earn a CGPA 2.5 before placement in the internship program. It is highly recommended that students try to arrange well in advance suitable enterprises/organizations for their internship. The selected enterprises/organizations must be approved by the School of Business.
